Rev. Daniel Doleys, Pastor
I hail from the suburbs of Cleveland, but eventually moved to the Springfield area to attend Cedarville University. In college, I met and married my wonderful wife, Amber. After a few years in Chicago for grad school, we moved back to the area and have called it home for the past nine years. We have three children, two boys and a girl. I love to teach and preach God’s Word and help people understand the Bible more deeply. When I’m not pastoring, I like to read, go hiking with my family, and root for the Cleveland Indians.
Dr. John Sutter, Elder
I am 50 something (okay, closer to 60), and have worked in Springfield as a family practice physician for over 25 years. I have been married for over 30 years to my best friend, Denita. I have seven great children, three of whom are married, and three precious grandchildren. My favorite color is purple, my favorite animal is a penguin, and I love learning. I have been part of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church for over 14 years. I enjoy working in the outdoors and live on a farmlet west of Springfield.
Dale Parsons, Elder
I’m a husband and father with the spiritual gift of hospitality. After 20 years in the military I’m a bit socially clumsy, yet I'm personable and sincere by God's grace. Since we were created to be in fellowship with our Father and others, relationships are part of my spiritual well-being. My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary in December, 2019, and we have two adult children, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and Oliver the cat. I like working and creating with my hands, sailing, fishing, and other outdoor activities in general.
David Snyder, Deacon
I am married with three wonderful children and have lived in the area since 2004, after traveling around while in the Air Force. Serving as a deacon, I love to help the church; whether it be befriending community members, offering rides to church or simply painting a wall. I enjoy entertaining and, when I'm not working on a project, can be found by my pool on sunny days, blaring some music and soaking in life. Currently, I'm employed as an IT Manager for Ohio State University's medical center in Columbus.
